Yesterday our MP Darryl was part of the Joint Select Committee on Local Authorities, Service Commissions and Statutory Authorities conducted an Inquiry into Financial Oversight and Financial Management at Municipal Corporations.

Today our MP Darryl and the Joint Select Committee on Local Authorities, Service Commissions and Statutory Authorities (Including the THA) held a public meeting with stakeholders as it convened its first public hearing with the City and Borough Corporations pursuant to its inquiry into financial oversight and financial management at municipal corporations.

The ministry of agriculture, Land and Fisheries is seeking to recruit suitable candidates on contract to fill the following positions.

On Wednesday 16th January, 2019, Dr. The Hon. Keith Rowley, Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago delivered the Feature Address and turned the sod, to officially begin the construction for the Diego Martin Pedestrian Overpass/Walkover. Due to the implementation of the Diego Martin Highway Expansion Project, a pedestrian overpass was deemed necessary to reduce or eliminate pedestrian and vehicular conflicts along the Diego Martin Highway. The PURE Unit had been  tasked with designing and managing the construction of a 36.5 meter span box truss pedestrian overpass. Our MP Darryl has been pushing for this since he was Chairman of DMRC. He spoke of the record infrastructure projects being done in Diego Martin Central . Including The DM Sporting Complex, 2 Community Centres, 1 Health Centre, Housing, Road Paving, T&Tec sub station upgrades, and much more to come.
